To maintain the brilliance of your jewelry, mindful daily habits are essential:

• We highly recommend removing your pieces during activities such as exercising, swimming, showering, or heavy cleaning.We completely understand the desire to style your pieces for a beach getaway, and that is absolutely fine! Just keep in mind that saltwater is your jewelry’s greatest enemy. After a day by the sea, gently rinse the surface with fresh water and lay them out to air dry in a well-ventilated space. Once entirely dry, safely store them away.
• Avoid letting your jewelry come into contact with harsh household chemicals, chlorine, perfumes, and cosmetics, as these will accelerate the fading of the plating.
• Protect your pieces from sharp impacts and abrasive surfaces to prevent scratching.

PROPER CLEANING

Keeping your pieces clean will help preserve their finish, but using the correct method is crucial:

• For regular maintenance, gently buff the metal surface with a soft cloth. However, please refrain from aggressively polishing gold-plated jewelry, as friction will wear away the delicate plating.Rather than reaching for a standard silver polishing cloth, simply use the complimentary Yann & Co. cloth included in your order. It is perfectly gentle and made specifically for wiping delicate surfaces.
• Please do not use liquid jewelry dips, chemical baths, or abrasive foam cleaners on plated brass. These harsh solutions will permanently strip the plating.
• If a refresh is necessary, clean gently using mild soap, warm water, and a very soft toothbrush. Always ensure they are completely dry before storing.

THE ART OF STORAGE

Moisture is the greatest enemy of brilliance. To prevent tarnishing, always store your jewelry in a cool, dry area. The smallest amount of humidity in the air can accelerate oxidation.
